At a glance: 5,480 retreats, counted 16 Oct 2026. Most run about 6 days.

This is not a promise that paying BookRetreats is safe. We have not audited their checkout. What we have is their public list: 5,480 retreats on 16 Oct 2026, leaving out teacher trainings and plant-medicine retreats.

We do not copy each retreat’s price or guest score. Where a page mentions a typical cost, it uses BookRetreats’ 2026 averages across all retreat types.

If you book through a link here, we may earn a commission. That does not decide which retreats are included.

## Where does Yoga Retreat Index get these numbers?

Retreat counts come from BookRetreats’ public listing list, on the date shown. Weather, where shown, is from Open-Meteo. The methodology page explains what is included and what is left out.

## Do you earn money from the links?

We may earn a commission if you book through links on this page, at no extra cost to you.

## Why is a place missing?

A place is published once we can count at least 5 retreats there. Smaller places wait until the list is more useful.
